In certain cases, it is mandatory to undergo an extensive background check if you are to work at a Danish airport or with an airline or handle cargo, supplies etc. for a Danish airport.
It is the responsibility of the employer, the airline or the airport to ensure that the application for an extensive background check is carried out correctly if it is required to perform a certain job.
For further details, please see the information on extensive background checks provided by the Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority (Trafikstyrelsen).
