The protection of Danish research is a complex task, and a number of Danish services and agencies are involved in the task of protecting Denmark against espionage and illegal knowledge transfer.

 

PET: National security and intelligence authority

Based on intelligence related to the threat against the sector, PET can offer you specific advice on how to implement preventive and security-related procedures. Furthermore, PET is responsible for investigating incidents within this area. Contact PET on civ@pet.dk if you need advice in relation to the area of innovation and knowledge.

 

Do you have any concerns or has the damage been done already? Then you must react. It is important to have a healthy security culture where concerns can be discussed openly. The Danish Business Authority: Export control

The Danish Business Authority is responsible for Denmark’s export control. Export control was set in place to ensure that potentially harmful goods, products and technologies do not fall into the wrong hands. Products are not just material goods, but also cover, for example, technical assistance or electronic transfer.

UFM offers secretariat support to the “Forum for International Koordination og Samarbejde” (Forum for International Coordination and Cooperation) and follows the implementation by the institutions of the guidelines for international research and innovation collaboration.
