FAQ - Candidate and relation
Check whether you have authorized public authorities to send mail to your digital mailbox. If you have done so, and you still do not receive the link, then visit https://sikkerhedsgodkendelse.pet.dk. You can log into this site using your MitID either as a candidate or a relation. If it still does not work, we recommend that you use another browser or another device, alternatively another network.
We recommend that you:
- Check your firewall
- Use another browser or device
- Use another network
- Log into https://sikkerhedsgodkendelse.pet.dk with MitID
It is not possible to change the name in the information sheet. Please write your full name in the comment field under “Personal data”.
If you cannot upload a photo to the information sheet, please check whether the file format meets these specifications:
- The file must not exceed 5MB
- The file format must be JPG or PNG
If in doubt, you should choose the company which pays your salary. If you have been employed by a foreign company, you will not be requested to fill in the CVR no.
All past and present Danish companies have a business registration number (CVR no.). You can find the CVR no. of the company in the Central Business Register (https://datacvr.virk.dk).
Tick the box ”Relation has no CPR no.” under “Relation” in the information sheet.
State the email address of your relation. The email address will be the username of your relation for the site https://sikkerhedsgodkendelse.pet.dk.
Fill in a temporary password. It is important that you remember the password and give it to your relation.
Tell your relation to log into the site https://sikkerhedsgodkendelse.pet.dk and choose “Relation”.
Then refer to the guide for relations without a CPR no., which you can find on https://pet.dk/beskyt-din-organisation/psu-portal-ansoeger
You may hand over the guide to your relation.
If you do not have a CPR no. either, the email address of your relation must be different from your own.
Do not state the same email address for more than one relation.
If your relation has obtained a digital exemption, your relation must be registered as having no CPR no. Please refer to the above question ”My relation has no civil registration number (CPR no.)”.
Give your child’s full name and CPR no. to the authority which is to issue the security clearance. The authority will then request that your child is vetted. Your child will subsequently receive a link to an information sheet in their digital mailbox. The information sheet must be filled in within 14 days.
Give your cohabitant’s full name and CPR no. to the authority which is to issue the security clearance. The authority will then request that your cohabitant is vetted. Your cohabitant will subsequently receive a link to an information sheet in their digital mailbox. The information sheet must be filled in within 14 days.
Give your partner’s full name and CPR no. to the authority which is to issue the security clearance. The authority will then request that your partner is vetted. Your partner will subsequently receive a link to an information sheet in their digital mailbox. The information sheet must be filled in within 14 days.
Please contact the authority that has requested a security clearance. The authority will assess whether we need this information and will contact us, if relevant.
Leave should be included under the headings ”Employed” or ”Unemployed” as part of the activity from which you are on leave and should not be stated separately. You are welcome to make a comment in the comment field, but it is not mandatory.
If you are stateless, choose ”Other” under ”Country of birth” in the information sheet, which will add an extra field named ”Other country”, where you write “Stateless”.
