Four members of staff arrested for leaking information from the intelligence services

Yesterday, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service PET arrested four persons in cooperation with the police and carried searches at various addresses.

Yesterday, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service PET arrested four persons in cooperation with the police and carried searches at various addresses.

The arrested persons are current and former members of staff from PET and the Danish Defence Intelligence Service DDIS.

They have been charged with violation of Section 109(1) of the Danish Criminal Code by having imparted highly classified information from PET and DDIS.

The arrests are the result of a long-term investigation of leaks within PET and DDIS.The investigation is ongoing.

The cases have now been transferred to the Danish Prosecution Service.

PET has no further comments at this point.

Man imprisoned in terrorism case with links to Hamas and criminal gangs

A 28-year-old man was remanded in custody today in connection with a terrorism case that began with a series of arrests in 2023. The case has links to both Hamas and criminal gangs in Denmark.

Person charged with terrorism in connection with arson attack in Copenhagen

A person has been charged with violation of the terrorism section of the Danish Criminal Code in a case concerning an arson attack that is being investigated by the Copenhagen Police and the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET). The person charged has been held on remand since July this year and has gang affiliations.
